Connon Brothers have recently invested in an Automated external defibrillator for the office, yard & local units. With some recent high profile examples of the successful use of the defibrillator devices, Connon Brothers recognised the requirement to have one on site should the unfortunate occasion ever arise. AED’s can change shocking stats like less than 1 in 10 people surviving a cardiac arrest, to a 90% survival rate when used within 1 minute or 74% survival rate when used within the first 3-5 minutes.
Four members of staff were also put through the Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF) course (and passed) with local training providers Forrest Training, to give confidence and knowledge should it ever be required.
